Big Helps to Small Ecclesias

What are Big Helps?

Big Helps for Small Ecclesias provide an invaluable means of support for all involved. Small Ecclesias across the North of England are offered help from the NYPG for Sunday meetings.

The help consists of running the ecclesial duties for a day; providing a speaker(s), presiding brother, steward(s), readers etc. This allows the brethren and sisters of the particular ecclesia to a) enjoy a break from their weekly duties, and b) benefit from the fellowship of increased numbers.

Help to small ecclesias often double if not triple the usual Sunday attendance.

These valuable days benefit the young people visiting the ecclesias as much as the resident brethren and sisters. 'Big Helps' provide the opportunity for young people to 'try out' ecclesial duties, e.g.'s speaking, presiding, organ playing, etc.

It is not just a 'one off' help either. The intention is to encourage more regular contact between young people and their local small ecclesia, so that both can benefit by the sharing of regular fellowship and duties.

If you want to come and help out at a Big Help (or just want to come along), or you want more information please contact us and let us know you want to be a BIG HELP!
